What We Do
At Code Cardinals, our team of experienced student mentors is dedicated to teaching coding to young children (from grades 3 - 8) in Montgomery, NJ. We emphasize personalized learning by maintaining a low mentor-to-student ratio, ensuring each child's unique needs are met. Our engaging and interactive sessions aim to foster a passion for coding from an early age.
In the summer of 2024, we will offer four sessions of intensive 2-day classes, running from August 8 to August 20.

What We Teach
Scratch
Scratch is a block-based visual coding program that provides beginner programmers the perfect introduction into the world of programming and makes it fun!
Python
Python is one of the most popular programming languages, and its easy-to-read syntax makes it perfect for beginners who are just learning to code.
AI
As AI becomes more important to our daily lives, it is an amazing skill for young coders to know. Students will learn the basics of coding and important machine learning principles.
Web Development
Learn the fundamentals of HTML/CSS while learning to build your own personal website, and gain practical skills that can be applied to a wide range of web development projects.
Important Camp Information
Age Group: Grades 3 - 8
Small Group Instruction: We maintain a low ratio of 5-6 students per mentor, ensuring that each student receives the attention they deserve and allowing mentors to personalize the curriculum to meet individual needs.
Session Dates: Aug 8 - Aug 9 (Scratch), Aug 13 - Aug 14 (Python), Aug 15 - Aug 16 (AI), Aug 19 - Aug 20 (Web Development)
Tuition Cost: Each 2-day class costs a total of $140 for the student. Snacks will also be provided for students.
